I have difficulty getting the heat map in Azure map as I wanted. This is the current setting of my visualization. Zip State as the location, and Volume, which is a calculated measure as size. Zip State is assigned data category of place. Volume is set to be whole number (with large range).
I have 3 color settings in Heat Map.
I would like the colors to be based on the value of the volume. For area with largest volume, it shows red, with median volume, it shows yellow, and the lowest are would show with green color. In the current Heat Map, I turned on the "Use size as weight" option, hoping this would achieve to the goal, but it did not. The color all show up the same, dark red. I wonder if anyone can share the working experiences. Thank you!

Hello!
The solution did not work 😞 I decided to use the filled map option in Azure map and color coded areas by different volume and it worked. Thank you for your f/u!
Thank you @amitchandak ! I was not referring to bubble map, but the heat map in Azure map. The size of the dots in heat map does not correspond to the measure value. It could be that I used zip in the reference table as location, and the map treats every value the same even though I added measure to the chart.
Hi @jwong5,
Thank you for the response, here the issue is likely because of location accuracy. Since you are using ZIP and State field as the location, the map may be resolving all points to the same or very close coordinates, that is why it looks like a single intense hot spot. Please follow below steps:
Once this is done the heat map will show the correct gradient and intensity based on the measure values.
