Hi,
I am excited about using the Azure Machine Learning integration in Power BI. However, I wish Power BI Desktop had the same thing. Because I have a .pbix dataset file that I don't think can easily be replaced by "dataflows." However, I am interested in adding machine learning to it.
I read on this community thread about some possible ways to do it. But it would be better if Power BI Desktop had the same integration. Any chance it will?
And/or, has anyone had any success doing this...
...and if so, how? (Where do you create the ML model, and how do you integrate it with Power BI Desktop?)
No way -- did they just announce this today, in the November 2019 Feature Summary? I swear I didn't know it was coming 😂
I'm not sure though, because the announcement shows a screenshot of using Text Analytics, but it does not show the integration with an Azure Machine Learning web service. And I cannot get the November 2019 version of Power BI Desktop quite yet, so I cannot really test it out.
Hi @kevhav ,
You can now download the latest version of Power BI Desktop, Details about the update can be found in this document:
What's new in the latest Power BI Desktop update?
