Average on Direct Query

Hello,

 

I have problem in report where I use Direct Query to import data.

When I was importing data to power BI it was easy for me to calculate number of lines in order and then make average of it on Visualization.

But now I have to use measure. ANd I have it 

Number of lines = COUNTA(PozycjaZlecenia[pz_ID])
It measure number of lines correctly but when I put it on visualization, I can't make average of it. Would You help how to

Thanks a lot.

I don't understand this way but once I made one mesure counting lines and then another masure making average of this first one, it worked. So problem solved.

But why can't you just use AVERAGE or AVERAGEX ? Why do you need to count?
