Hello everyone!
I have an issue with calculating average for each quarter based on calculated measure... I have calculated a measure -> added it to matrix (with month in view):
Perc_Type = (DIVIDE(CALCULATE(SUM(Compl[Am])), CALCULATE(SUM(Table2[Values])))*1000
Result:
Based on this, I want to calculate AVERAGE of "Perc_Type" for each QUARTER within "Type" and receive result:
Any ideas how it possible to find average of measure for each quarter from "monthly calculated measure"?
@ko_82 assuming you have a calendar dimension in your model that is used for quarter and month, if not then check my video on how you can add one and the advantages of using a calendar dimension https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BKzsCfr4qeQ&list=PLiYSIjh4cEx2FkuGkngYruS0wm8MYFsoi&index=12
, once this dimension is in place, add a measure to calculate the average
Avg =
AVERAGEX ( VALUES ( 'Calendar'[Month] ), [Your Percent Type Measure] )
