Hi,
I have this table and I'd like to add a column similar to the total column but with the average.
When I try do it, a column with the average appears also in each month.
My question is if it's possible to have just one column with the annual average?
Thanks

In Power BI Desktop, we can change the aggregation type of the field into "Average". It will be applied onto Grand Total row/column as well.
But we can only keep on Total row/column in a visual. It's not supported to add one more "Grand Total" row/column manually.

This menu seems to be no longer available? It Isn't appearing in my Power BI Desktop Version: 2.48.4792.481 64-bit (juli 2017)
Not in the same Visual.
Copy ( CTRL+C ) the Matrix - paste it ( CTRL+V ) on the right side of the current
get rid of the Month field - and change to your Average Measure!
Hope this helps! ![]()
how about adding it at the table level as a calculated column?
