Automatized color theme application for all values of a visual

Dear PowerBi Community,

I have created a color theme for a pie chart.

I can specify the colors for the first 8 values of the theme:

These colors will as well be applied to the visual.
However beginning with the 9th value there is default colors again I need to set it up manually value by value.

Do you have any idea how one could set up the color scheme automatized for all values?
As the values are changing constantly it would be huge manual work the update them to scheme color.
Best regards
Dennis

Hi @dennisbraun ,

If you haven't already, create a custom JSON theme file that includes a broader array of color definitions. This way, you can ensure that there are enough colors specified in your theme to cover more than 8 values. You can then import this theme into your Power BI report.

  • try to do a theme file and use Report themes in Power BI Desktop .and you can change the code

    in the json file.

  • set multiple colors (color palette) to the visual by using a Custom theme in your Power BI File.

Hi @Anonymous thanks for your kind support!
I repeated the color codes in the JSON theme file code several times and it seems to work now!
