Automatically change Excel Data Source monthly

I have created a Power BI report that has a dashboard for monthly data. Data comes from an Excel file uploaded in SharePoint, named "Monthly Report - May 2021".

Every month, a new file is uploaded with a different filename based on the month (e.g. "Monthly Report - June 2021"). It has the same template, worksheet names, headers, etc., but it contains data only for the specific month.

Is it possible to automatically change the referenced file data source every month in Power BI? Or do I need to use one file only and update that file with new monthly data?

Hi @lancea ,

Based on your description, have you tried to create a parameter and then use it in the Advanced editor?
