Automated refresh excel from network path data in power BI

I have reading excel from network path. If i change excel data, BU report should refresh. How can i achieve this in Power BI. Do we have extract refresh?

Dear @Anonymous 

You can refresh the data in 2 ways 

Power BI desktop: Whenever excel is updated with the data then refresh the report/dashboard and publish in the Service/Cloud

Power BI Service: you can schedule the auto refresh by creating the gateway with the network path then the updated data will be displayed in the dashboard.

how do i create gateway with the network path?

I have use network path in POWER BI desktop 

fyi -my report contains 2 sub reports - one with sql source and other excel from network path

1) your excel sheet is in the Network folder just copy that path or connect in Power BI desktop.

2) With SQL no need to do anything it will auto fetch your login credentials

3) Publish your report to power bi service and schedule refresh time

In Power BI Desktop it is not the auto-refresh, you have to refresh manually.
