Hello,
I have multiple slides containing Power BI add-ins. To share it, I need to keep all in Snapshot mode (not all users have access to data sources).
When I need to update all slides, on each slide, I need to select the add-ins and use the shortcut SHIFT+CTRL+7 and 9. Can that be automated ? I tried to use VBA and the SendKeys function, but it doesn't work.
Thanks for any help

Hi @MichelDesneux,
Currently, the Power BI add-in for PowerPoint does not offer programmatic access such as APIs or event hooks that would allow automating tasks like switching embedded visuals to Snapshot mode. it's not possible to build this kind of automation directly within the add-in at this time.
You may also want to submit this as a feature request on the Power BI Ideas forum. If the idea gains enough support from the community, Microsoft might consider adding it in a future update.
Thanks,

Another option would be UIPath or Power Automate Desktop.

You risk oversharing data.
Hello, I don't have access to those tools. Can it be integrated in the Add-in itself ?
