I build a power BI report based on multiple excel files (extract from my company databases)
I first build the report on Power Bi desktop with the excel & pbix files on my desktop
Then I moved the pbix file and excels on a sharepoint and changed my source (following these instruction https://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Change-Data-Source-from-Local-D...) so it took the data from the sharepoint
Then I published the power BI on a workspace so my team could access it
What I want now is to make the published power BI automatically refresh, based on the last version of the excel files on the sharepoint (without me needing to open desktop, click on refresh all then re-publish the report).
Is it doable and how ? Is it done through power BI desktop or through the website ?
I looked around on internet, on the forum and on my company power BI database but could'nt find an answer I understood

Hello @Arkhos94 ,
you can schedule a refresh in Power BI Service. Check the following documentation for that:
Configure scheduled refresh - Power BI | Microsoft Docs
Then the data from the Excel files are refreshed in the selected interval.
thanks @selimovd, I think I understand the base on how to do it
If I try to refresh the data, I receive a message saying the update was canceled because at least one data source has no ID information (sorry if it's not the exact english message, I have to translate it from French)
I imagine it come from some problem with my connection with the sharepoint, I will look into it
