Area Chart - Axis Date Not Aligned to Data

Hello Community,   Per the screen shot attached, I'm trying to focus on data for a specific date. When I mouse over a specifc point in time, my data is perfect. The visible date in the Axis however...

    BillyRaygun change type of x-axis on format pane to categorical from continuous.

Unless I'm missing something blatently obvious, that capability isn't in the current version of PBI (2.116.996.0), or it's moved.  You think for a MS product they'd put more effort into giving us the normal capabilities that Excel does for visual data representations.
