ArcGIS maps for Power BI- nothing appears in field

Hi ,

I am using the PowerBI first time with the "ArcGIS maps for Power BI " extension, 

I can log in into ArcGIS online but nothing appears in the field pane, not even after searching hence i am unable to start anything.

Can someone help?

Actually ArcGIS Maps for Power BI is just a visualization, and it can build beautiful maps using your data in Power BI. You need to connect to the data you need first. You can refer the following documentations about how to create ArcGIS Maps in Power BI.

 Hi Rena,

Thanks for responding, I tried the URLs but both the URLs are not telling about how to access data from a URL for example www.arcgis.com

My data is stored in ArcGIS Online as a hosted feature layer , it should be really simple but i am not sure where i am stuck.
