ArcGIS - integrating census level data and addreses
The most integral part of my map is the census tract data. As such, I have set my location type to "Represent Locations as Boundaries". However, I would also like to integrate points.
I'm looking to have 2 groupings of points (schools and non-profits) that the user would be able to select or deselect (with a slicer or something else). I don't want to use Pins because I have more points than that allows.
I've thought of using a reference layer, but don't know if the user could select to see the reference layer or not.
Any ideas?

@Anonymous ,

-- Could you please share some sample data and clarify more details about "2 groupings of points"? For example, what's the difference between the 2 groups?

Yes, so I have integrated Census data (poverty rates, population numbers, etc.) that correlate to Census Tract Shapes.
The "two groups" that I'm looking to integrate are both sets of specific addresses (or I could make them coordinates if necessary). One will be the addresses of schools in the area, the other will be addresses of non-profits in the area. I was hoping to seperate them to color code them differently, to add ease of reading the map. I would also like allow for end users to be able to choose whether they wanted to see neither "group" of addresses/points on the map, just see the schools, just see the non-profits, or both.
Schools:
Non-profits:
Thanks!
