Hi Team ,
I had a line chart which has more than 50 lines (those lines are subject to change ) in it. As by default , the lines will have different colour for each , so clicking on a particular line will highlight it and partially shading the other lines . Understanding data or trend from the selected is very low as all other lines are also coloured.
Solution that i am looking for is that only the selected line ( or lines ) should be in coloured and other should be shaded out in same light coloured.
Current Image :-
Selected Legend is highlighted and other legend are partially shaded out in their default colour - Difficult to grasp the data points from the selected line in this kind of UX
Expected Image :-
Selected Legend is highlighted in its own colour and other legend are partially shaded out in a single default colour - Easier to grasp the flow and can quckily understand the data points
Tried solution :-
1). Implementation of two widget approach (one overlap the other ), underlying widget will contain all legend in a single light colour and overlapping widget will have only the API's selected from slicer which will be in different coloured (Reference Link 1/ Reference Link 2 ) - Only pre-defined and static number of lines chart are supported , for dynamically changing line chart this wont work.
2). Implemtation of custom theme , creating a new custom theme with default colour for line chart as mentioned in this community post - Only the pre-defined and static legends are alway highlighted , but in our requirement we will select the legend dynamic and only those to be highlighted.
Any direct or alterantive workaround or any pointor will be really helpful.

Line color can currently not be influenced dynamically. If this is important to you please consider voting for an existing idea or raising a new one at https://ideas.fabric.microsoft.com/?forum=2d80fd4a-16cb-4189-896b-e0dac5e08b41
