An argument of function 'SQRT' has the wrong data type or the result is too large or too small.

When i run

sig. = IF([means(current)]>[means(last)], IF([t score]>[t-value],1,0))
the error pop up that An argument of function 'SQRT' has the wrong data type or the result is too large or too small.
But if i calculate t-score and t-value in separate measures, it can return the value properly, do anyone know how to solve this?

Hi @Anonymous ,

An error message like the following appears, probably because the created formula returned the wrong field type. Just check it out.

Your outer IF function is missing the "else" path.  This will result in BLANK() which will trip up the SQRT().
