Amount of Measures in a Power BI Desktop file

Dear comunity,

I have a lagre Power BI Desktop Report with a complicated data model. Also, I have about 1000 measures created. Lot´s of the measures are not used anymore. When I create a new measure, it takes long time to save the measure.

Therefore, I have two questions:

1) Does the amount of measures have a negative influence on the performance of the report?

2) Is there any tool that shows me which measure is used in which report to identify measures that are not used in any report?

Thanks for your support!

Hello @lukmtb08 ,

yes, it better to remove the measures that are not being used.

Have a look at this cool tool from powerbi.tips .
