So I have come to a stoppoing point on Amortization Schedule that I have been graciously been given help on from one the members on here. I do not fully understand how to fix a circular dependecy and could use some help understanding and fixing the issue.
Here is the 1st Calculated column
Here is the 2nd Calculated Column
I undestand what it is but in power bi I am not sure how to fix it. I tried several different ways but I always end back at the same error.
Just wanted to say thanks to @TheoC for the earlier help on this.
@amortization
Hi @timsbrt ,
Based on the description, try to use measures instead of calculated columns.
Besides, try to create an auxiliary column to get the EndingBalance column values and use this column in the BeginningBalance column.
Best Regards,
Wisdom Wu
