Hi all,
I'm trying to figure out an issue with relationships in Power BI.
I have a table that shows tickets, and a table that shows agents. Each ticket has a team associated, based on the requester. However, each agent solving the ticket is also part of a team, and sometimes agents work across teams. Data here.
I'm trying to create a filter for team, that will show # of tickets solved per team on one visualization, and other visualiation showing all agents in that team, and the # of solved tickets.
I'm not sure if I'm explaining this correctly, so I've attached an example here. The Tickets Created by Team chart is correct, but Tickets Solved by Agent is not. Steven is also on Team B, so I would want to see that he solved 1 ticket.
I've been using separate report pages as I've been trying to figure this out forever, but would love to find a solution. I've tried different formulas such as USERRELATIONSHIP, but it's not working out for me.
TYIA!!

You can do this with a disconnected Teams table like below. With this approach, the data will not automatically filter when the Teams[Team Name] selection changes, so you need to create measures to get the data you need.

Hi @adkayak86 ,
Thanks for posting the .pbix file. I believe this can be solved by relating Team to Agents like so on Teams[TeamName] and Agents[Agent Team]:
Then the result shows Steven and Karen when Team B is filtered:
That fixes the tickets solved by agent chart, but now it's showing Team B receiving 3 tickets, which it should only be two (as shown in the Tickets table)
Ok gotcha- will have a new result in a few minutes.
