Amazon Redshift DataSource.Error: The table has no visible columns and cannot be queried.

I am trying to get data from Amazon Redshift in Power BI. The connection works fine but when I try to select any tables the DataSource error occurs and I cannot see the contents of the tables. Any idea how to fix this?

Hi, @Anonymous

According to my research, the reason why your problem occurs maybe that the credential you used to connect to the Power BI is not enough to get the data from it. What’s more, you should also make sure the tables you selected are not empty.

Here’s a case with a similar problem, you can check:

Connect to an Amazon Redshift database in Power BI Desktop

Thank you very much!
