Hi,
I have my columns in a matrix sorted by a second custom sorting column I created, nothing too out of the ordinary - it just lets me set the order I prefer.
Now what I would like to do if possible is created a second (or more) custom sorting columns to apply. I could do this manually in the Desktop by simply changing the 'Sort By Column' between whichever sort I prefered but I would like end-users to be able to somehow select the sorting method themselves.
Is there a way to expose this option? Some sort of toggle for users to choose how to sort?
Hope that makes sense. Thanks
Hi @SiroPW ,
Normally, if users want to sort the columns in a chart, they could click the more options button in the upper right corner of the visual.
However, for matrix, we cannot sort by value of column field and there is no such an option for us to achieve your desired currently in Power BI.
You could vote this similar idea here and add your comments there to improve Power BI and make this feature coming sooner.
Best Regards,
Cherry
