I recently made some updates to a dataset but after refreshing which took 45+ mins, the PBI desktop flashed and all of the page tabs across the bottom were missing. Currently there is 1 that says Page 1 as if I had just opened a fresh PBI instance however the full dataset with some of the more recent changes still show up in the data view and relationship view. I've tried closing and reopening as well as clearing the global cache. I've struggled to find any other possible troubleshooting steps beyond this and am currently at a loss. Any other possible suggestions?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Data4920 ,
Have you saved the .pbix file before refreshing it? According to your describiton, your data model still exists the only thing disapeared is the pages? You may try the following methods to see if it helps.
1# Add a new page.
2# refresh the file again.
Best Regards,
Jay
It does not show any restore option however it does say there are pending changes that need to be applied. I've tried twice now to apply them but it just brings up 2 of the recent queries I had worked on and never gets past 'Evaluating...'. Discarding the changes does not seem to do anything either as when I close and reopen it still asks me to apply changes.
