All of the queries (and data) removed from report after failed publish to server

Hi! I tried to upload new version of my report to Power BI server. The publish failed after loading quite a while, it said something about my account not been connected to the server (don't remember what it exactly said). It failed before the saving of the report was done (I first clicked Publish -> then Save).

After this I closed the Power BI; thought it was an error, so tried turning it off and on. After the report opened, all of the data was gone. All queries, all tables, everything. What happened, and how do I get the data back?

For context, the dataset is really big.

Hi Niijoo,

PowerBi by default autosaves files under a temp folder like most other windows application files. My Location – C:Users/Ganesh/AppDataLocal/MicrosoftPowerBIDesktop/TempSaves
Unless you clear temp files, you should be able to recover it.

Thanks and please let me know if it works!
