Hi @nishantr
This error is because visual failed to get the start of month, and Quantity sold is an aggregate value,
could you share your sample file? you can remove sensitive information and replace it with fake data. I'll test it later.

@nishantr can you make sure the date column in your transaction table doesn't have a time portion in it, is it a date/time column or just a date? Can you share the preview of transaction date data in Power Query?

@nishantr do you have a relationship between these two tables? if yes, on which column?

Hey @nishantr ,
I assume that the Quantity sold and the Start of Month column are from two different tables and that both tables are related by a date column. My 2nd assumption is that one of the columns contains a time part. Removing the timepart (changing the data type not just the format) can resolve the issue.
If not, provide more information about the tables that are hosting the columns you are using in your visual.
Regards,
Tom
@parry2k @TomMartens the tables do have a relationship , its between Date and transaction date ,also used an inactive relationship . I feel its because of the data type but i checked everything looks correct.
@nishantr what is start of month column? Can you post sample data? It is not clear from screenshot?

Its the Month names for all the rows
So everytime I am adding the quantity sold into the value field its giving me a aggregate number and not month wise
