Hi,
I am using powerBi along with SQL server studio in direct querry mode.
I added a column to one of my SQL views that I'm using in the powerbi report. But when I drag the new column into one of my exisiting visuals, the report crashes.
I know if I delete the table in powerBI and then connect to SQL server again and download it, it will work fine but that table has a lot of measures which I will then have to recreate and I would really like to avoid that.
Any one know why this happens and how to fix without deleting the table?
Refresh that table (data source) in Power BI Desktop. It will both reload the data and apply the meta data changes.
