Hi,
I have below column "Tags"
What i want to do in power query editor is to add a "{" at the beginning and a "}" at the end of the values in the original column., so i dont want to have to create a new column.
So i get it like this:
How can i do this?
Hi @TechR21 ,
If you don't want to use the custom column feature, you can use the following formula:
List.Transform(#"StepName"[ColumnName], each "{" & _&"}")
, where [ColumnName] is the name of the column you want to add a prefix. This returns a new list with each element the result of adding "{" and "}"before the element in the original column.
Best Regards,

This works but then i only keep one column as a result. My table has multiple columns.
I see now i didnt mention it above
is it possible to add these to the original column without creating a new one?
Hi @TechR21
I don't really know but if you create a new column, you can remove the first, once you have the new one
