Adding Column when Connected to Published Dataset

Hi all, I am connected to a published dataset.  I can add measures but the the capability to add a column is greyed out.  Is that not possible?  TIA

Hi @DPCCGF ,

This is possible, you need to add a local data transformation into Direct Query storage mode.

@DPCCGF you can only add measures, not calculated columns, it has to be done at the source dataset.
