Hi @pupadhya

You can add new connections in Manage connections and gateways in the settings.

Then Click the +New in the top left of the page, and configure the connections.

It's worth methoding that:

Data refresh on the Power BI service will fail when the source column or table is renamed or removed. It fails because the Power BI service doesn't also include a schema refresh. To correct this error, a schema refresh needs to happen in Power BI Desktop and the semantic model republished to the service.

If you add new columns in the data source, you are supposed to refresh data in the Power BI desktop and re-publish to the service and re-created the dashboard.

It depends how you sourced data from Excel into Power BI. It's best that you create a table CTRL+T in Excel and pull data from this table vs. Sheet. In case when you add new rows to this table, Power BI will refresh data from table.
