Visual for salary boxes
Hey all,
I'm wanting to visualize payroll data and I'm wondering if anyone has any good ideas about a visual that will help me show "salary boxes". I've looked at candlestick charts as well as box and whiskers but they don't quite fit the bill.
Ideally, I would like to populate the visual with these calculations or measures:
Lowest point of box = 10th percentile of Salary
Dot/marking in box = Median of Salary
Dot/marking in box = Average of Salary
Highest point of box = 90th percentile of Salary
Y axis = thousands
X axis = position and gender as categories
Any suggestions?
