Add extra column

  • I have monthwise data of some expenses. I have plotted this data in power bi table(matrix visual)as shown below where I have taken month in columns and expenses in rows resulting monthwise data. But I also need data for quater to be included in column I hope it is possibleData in excelData in excelPower bi reportPower bi reportIntended reoprtIntended reoprt. I have attached sample data image for reference

Add a calendar table to your data model. Include quarter column there.  Then join the calendar table to your fact table via the date.   In your matrix put the quarter and yearmonth columns into the column area.
