Add customized points on filled Map

Hi,

I have a data set that uses zipcodes as location which works perfect with filled map. Is there anyway to add few location points on top of what I already ploted? These locations are pin points based on latitude and longitude from another data set.

So it would look like somewhat like below, first layer with zip code blocks and second layer with red points based on lat long. Is this possible? I do not want to use ArcGIS.

Thanks,

  • Hi PowerBI_Yonghu ,

Your demand is a good idea, while it is not supported to implement in Power BI currently. You can post your new idea here https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas , to improve the Power BI.

It is a place for customers provide feedback about Microsoft Office products . What’s more, if a feedback is high voted there by other customers, it will be promising that Microsoft Product Team will take it into consideration when designing the next version in the future.

Maybe you could try to generate a custom map visual.

    Best Regards,

    Amy
