Hello,
Im new to Power- Bi and im looking to add a visual filter to my already exciting DAX
I dont want to have to apply the filter to my Graph as it is now i want it to already show that final value
Below is what i currently have
This is my created Mesure that i would like to add a STUID filter to get the results above (without the visual filter)
The math would go something like this
Total Score DIVIDE Classcode for each student
At the moment most things i have tried divide by all the classcodes not the ones specific to the students
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

Hi, @Evanpooley_2
I'd like to suggest you try the following measure to see if it helps.
Score divided by Count of classcode =
CALCULATE (
DIVIDE (
SUM ( 'SB_STAGING_ASSESSMENT_RESULTS_UNIQUE'[Score] ),
DISTINCTCOUNT ( 'SB_STAGING_ASSESSMENT_RESULTS_UNIQUE'[classcode] )
),
ALLEXCEPT (
'SB_STAGING_ASSESSMENT_RESULTS_UNIQUE',
'SB_STAGING_ASSESSMENT_RESULTS_UNIQUE'[Student Name]
)
)
Best Regards
Allan

Hi,
Your question is not clear. Share a simple dataset and show the result in a simple Table. Once the Table is ready, we can always switch to any visual.
Try adding an ALLEXCEPT() filter modifier to your measure.
