Hello,
We have a pbix document for monitoring stock items.
However, it is not possible to keep history so we can compare stock values from different periods.
Then I wanted to backup the pbix each week and add it to a default folder.
The pbix just contains 1 sheet with a large table with all different stock KPI's.
Is there any way i can link the back-uped pbix to the active pbix document related on date where i can compare stock items over differtens periods?
Kind regards

Hi @Roy_van_Schie ,
I suggest you upload both files to sharepoint, which will synchronize the source file data at hourly intervals, and as long as you don't alter the copy files, you'll always have the original. Finally display it on the dashboard via two different tiles.
Hope it helps!

Hi @Roy_van_Schie ,
This is sort of the essential difference between them, and I think it's hard to reconstruct a new collection in a short time. Intro to dashboards for Power BI designers - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
I think you can try it the way I originally replied.
Hope it helps!

Hi @Roy_van_Schie ,
Do you mean report or dashboard. If it's a report, it's not possible, because a report can only correspond to a semantic model, but a dashboard is supported, and can be pinned to a visual or pinned to a live page, depending on the requirements.Create a Power BI dashboard from a report - Power BI | Microsoft Learn

That is ashame, i meant report. Do you think there will be any update soon so we can add a report to a report?
I can try it by upload it to a dashboard, but i dont want the repeating work of uploading it.
Maybe i go for the option to export the table out of the report i want to Excel, place that in a folder and connect the folder to my report.

Hello,
The problem is how to connect another dashboard to the current dashboard.
The other dashboard has a table, and i want the information of that table in my other model.
Hello Idrissshatila
Thanks for the answere!
The old data is getting backup every week with the od data from that week.
So i dont see how i can add the new data to the old dashboards.
I was hoping there was just a solution with linking dashboards together, same as you can do with Excel documents wich you place in a folder and link to your dashboard..
Hello @Roy_van_Schie ,
why don't you have the new data appended with the old data, so you can see both dates.
