Hello,
I am trying to get Net Operating Income/Net Income into a table in PowerBI Desktop. I have utilized this forum (https://community.fabric.microsoft.com/t5/Desktop/How-to-include-measures-NOI-Net-Income-into-table/...) for everything and the Net Income column is STILL not showing up. It disappears when I add in the values.
What am I doing wrong?
Here are my measure codes:
Sum of Actuals =
SUM ( 'Licking 2025'[Amount])Net Operating Revenue =
CALCULATE ( [Sum of Actuals], FILTER ( 'Licking 2025', 'Licking 2025'[Revenue/Expenditure] = "Revenue" ) )
- CALCULATE (
[Sum of Actuals],
FILTER ( 'Licking 2025', 'Licking 2025'[Revenue/Expenditure] = "Expenditure" )
)Actuals with Net Operating Revenue =
VAR __GROUP =
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Group'[Group] )
RETURN
IF (
__GROUP = "Net Operating Revenue",
[Net Operating Revenue],
CALCULATE ( [Sum of Actuals], FILTER ( 'Licking 2025', 'Licking 2025'[Revenue/Expenditure] = __GROUP ) )
)
Here is my visualization info:
Thanks,
Shannon

Hi @swinings
Try this.
Actuals with Net Operating Revenue =
VAR __GROUP =
SELECTEDVALUE ( 'Group'[Group] )
RETURN
IF (
__GROUP = "Net Operating Revenue",
CALCULATE ( [Net Operating Revenue], ALL ( 'Group'[Group] ), ALL ( 'Licking 2025'[Revenue/Expenditure] ) ),
CALCULATE ( [Sum of Actuals], FILTER ( 'Licking 2025', 'Licking 2025'[Revenue/Expenditure] = __GROUP ) )
)
Otherwise, please provide a workable sample data (not an image), your expected result from the same sample data and your reasoning behind. You may post a link to Excel or a sanitized copy of your PBIX stored in the cloud.
pls try thi

This worked perfectly. Thank you!
Does the Net Operating Revenue measure work without the group in the visualisation rows? If it does then the error might be with the group bit.
