Add External Excel Data to SSAS Live Connection

Is there an option to add external data from excel to a power bi model with live connection to tabular cube?

Hi @udian

Live connections are exclusive to the source., so you can't add additional sources like you can when you use Import mode.

Can you add your excel data as a data source to your tabular cube?

Technically i can do it but but this is not data that i want to maintain in the cube.
