Add Count to slicer

Hello,

I wish to add a count into a slicer. At present, the slicer shows a coumn called assignee. However, I want to show a count of the assignee's name, which counts the number of occurences of the assignee.

Bob(8)
Sam(1)

I have tried to use a calculated table, joined on assignee but I get a circular reference when joining.

If there is an easier way to achieve this, that would be great.

@ElliotK , it would be static

create a new column

[Name] & " " & countx(filter(Table, [Name] =earlier([Name]) ), [Name])

MyNewCol = [Assignee] & " " & COUNTX(FILTER(vw_Tasks, [Assignee] =EARLIER([Assignee]) ), [Assignee])

Is this correct? If so, I get : COUNTX Is not allowed as part of a calculated column
