I created in PBI a simple matrix with various types of selection for the time period.
To optimize the table I am looking for a way to show column total only if mininum 2 columns (=periods) are available.
Status Quo:
Solution I am looking for:
Is this possible?
Not per se, in a matrix visual either you show all the totals/subtotals or you don't. How I usually handle these cases is through bookmarks.
1. Duplicate the same visual you have but leave all totals turned off. Then hide it with the Selection pane.
2. Then create a bookmark showing the one that does have the totals and hides the other one.
3. Create another bookmark to do the opposite (show no totals/hide totals)
4. Use a bookmark navigator button to enable the switch to the user.
