Hello All,
I have a scenario where basically I am using 2 view in report. View1 on the top have location and 3 calculated column which is showing count of emp.
View 2 below have emp name, mgr name and location. Basically I want to incorporate a functionality such as if I click on any value in view 1 then below view 2 should get updated as per my selection. It seem very basic but somehow I am not able to get it.
View1:
| Location | Match Code (Calculated Coulmn1) | Mismatch Code (Calculated Coulmn2) | Missing Code (Calculated Coulmn3) |
| Loc1 | 11 | 2 | 5 |
| Loc2 | 7 | 21 | 6 |
| Loc3 | 9 | 8 | 1 |
View 2:
| Emp Name | Mgr Name | Location |
| EMP1 | Mgr 1 | Loc1 |
| EMP2 | Mgr 1 | Loc2 |
| EMP3 | Mgr 1 | Loc3 |
| EMP6 | Mgr 2 | Loc1 |
| EMP4 | Mgr 2 | Loc2 |
| EMP5 | Mgr 2 | Loc3 |
Ex: If I click on "6" in Missing code (Calculated column3) in view 1, Then View 2 should show only 6 record of emp as per my selection.
Any help is much appreciated!!
Note: Both the view has single datasource and generated from same table.
My Bad, There are 3 calculated Measure not the column.
View1:
| Location | Match Code (Calculated Measure1) | Mismatch Code (Calculated Measure2) | Missing Code (Calculated Measure3) |
| Loc1 | 11 | 2 | 5 |
| Loc2 | 7 | 21 | 6 |
| Loc3 | 9 | 8 | 1 |
View 2:
| Emp Name | Mgr Name | Location |
| EMP1 | Mgr 1 | Loc1 |
| EMP2 | Mgr 1 | Loc2 |
| EMP3 | Mgr 1 | Loc3 |
| EMP6 | Mgr 2 | Loc1 |
| EMP4 | Mgr 2 | Loc2 |
| EMP5 | Mgr 2 | Loc3 |
Data is similar to above table. Basically these measures are giving count of emplyee who are wrongly mapped to location.
Thanks for your help!
@Bali21 , Only thing the first visual will pass is location. Assume the first and second views is having a common location. you can filter that, Rest has to filter based on a measure.
I doubt with current information I can suggest a measure for that.
Can you share sample data and sample output in table format? Or a sample pbix after removing sensitive data.
