Accordion menu data driven
Hello,
We are trying to achieve the following:
- create an Accordion menu in PBI
- this menu being data driven, so "dynamic"
- a click on a item of the menu would display a specific page, with the data there filtered accordingly to the value the menu item is linked to
Currently, it seems that we wouldn't be able to have an Accordion menu data driven, only static.
Does anybody achieved the same?
Any help welcome ! If some custom visuals were already existing for this, I'm interested too.
Thanks!

create an Accordion menuWhat is that, and will it add to the number of clicks between your users and their insights?

Hi lbendlin lbendlin.
Here is my understanding, Dashboards and reports are mostly scanned quickly, and accordion works well to get the highlevel insights especially when insight is not required for every user. so dispite adding clicks it reduce overall frictions else you may have visual noise.- lbendlinSuper User
There is dedicated functionality already built in - matrix visuals, decomposition tree visuals, and the filter pane.

I genuinely don't know what an accordion menu is. Please explain.
- CuriousNitinRegular VisitorDear Super Users,An accordion in a user interface, a vertical stack of headers that can expand or collapse to reveal or hide content, is essential for organizing large amounts of information in limited space. Our challenge is to make this dynamic and data-driven in Power BI. If that's not feasible, are there any workarounds? For instance, we need to display regions as parent rows that expand to show countries > districts, and their status tables. Currently, this nested information isn't achievable. (as far as I know)
