I have an Access Database that is used as input along with other database. There are two queires in the PBI report that query the same Access database. When I try to use the Refresh button in the report I get the following error. "The database has been placed in a state by user 'Admin' on machine 'EXPC1' that prevents it from being opened or locked". Under Setting- Options - I have
This doesn't resolve it.
I've turned of the Enable Load in the Queries panel for the two queries that access the same Acess Database and that resolves the issue but then I have remember to manually refresh the two queries.
Is there something else I can try to resolve the error?
Thanks
My guess is this is something on the Access side, not on the PBI Desktop side. Access is not really my thing, but I have had issues accessing SQL tables when they're locked by another user - Power BI tries to lock it while it's refreshing so that the data doesn't change while it's getting queried. Not sure if you're the owner of the database or not but I'd check on that end of it.
