Access Forbidden Error

Hi,

I am trying to upload data tables into my desktop version of Power BI. When I select the box of the table to upload, I get an error Access to the resource is forbidden. I've been able to select this table several times in the past, then click edit to select the columns I actually need.

I did recently download an updated version of Power BI. I tried resetting my data connections by logging in with my organizational credentials, but still get the error. Any idea what's going on here?

Brett

@bcoulam ,

Could you please clarify which data source are you going to connect? In addtion, check if the credential is expired, clear the permissions and try again.

Not sure how, but the access was lost. This issue is resolved now.

@bcoulam,

Are you trying to upload from SharePoint or files are saved on your system?

We got same error when we are uploaded files from Sharepoint from personal system (system was not as per company policy).

Check with your IT team.
