i finally got to the point where we could load the mdb file. The Power BI recongizes the table, so it lists them all. However, it says they are all empty. We open access and they for sure are not empty. No error happens. We just can't access the information??
As PowerBI(PBI) accesses Access DB normally with common drivers(Jet or ACE.OLEDB), IMHO, there's no difference between PBI and any other programs using the same drivers when accessing Access.
So I think your question can be generalized as when accessing Access externally through drivers the table shows empty. I don't know about Access, just a guess this may be caused by insufficient permission or any limitation or feature in Access?
Starting from Access end might be a good idea in personal opinion and there's a dedicated msdn forum for Access.
Are they linked tables by chance?
Hi @Greg_Deckler , I have the same problem. I can see all the tables but they are all empty when I try to import them. They are linked tables. Is there a solution to this problem?
Thank you!
