I am new to Power Bi and having problem with API connection. Firstly I have to login from here https://demo.ipayroll.co.nz/login

then it gives Client ID and Secret which I am putting in web then in Web API but it is giving error again and again. I have tried it using it in Basic as well still it is giving the error.  Please help I need it the way it can import the data from source. I am new to API importing if any body can tell step by step it would be quite useful.

Hi @Hamdan1234 ,

As the thread said, You need to include ApiKeyName in your request rather than building up Authorization yourself.

Or try : In the Acces web content dialog, select Basic, enter your app's API key as the Username, and press Connect. This will open the Power BI Query Editor.

If you're going with client ID and secret then you need to use Anonymous in that dialog.
