A slicer affecting total column with a wrong sum

Hello,

I'm trying to filter sales per channel with the same products but different status (on sales / not on sale) and have correct row totals, but not column totals in a matrix.

I have the following tables:

1. Dim Products (product names, IDs)

2. Dim Product details (prices per channel, on sale / not on sale)

3. Fact Sales

We have some products which are on sale in one channel, but not the other. So let's say in January:

  • product Water was sold for 10k in channel A and had status on sale
  • product Water was sold for 1k in channel B and had status not on sale

I want to slice by Dim Product Details by on sale / not on sale. In the matrix I have channel -> product names, so the matrix in a row will show only 10k sales in Channel A, but the column total will be 1k.

How can I avoid this behavior?

Hi @mk42 ,

If you don't mind, please share me some sample data without real data and sensitive information. Please keep the structure of sample data is the same with the real data. And show me the current result and the result you want.

Icey
