Hi!
I am planning to add incrental refresh to our app wich has a FILTER() function in the load step:
FILTER(VALUES('Period'[Date]), 'Period'[Date] >= DATEVALUE("""&Text.From(Date.ToText(Date.From(pFromDate), "dd-MM-yyyy"))&"""))
I have a parameter (pFromDate), which is useful when we export the app as a template, that controls how much data that we load.
My question is, will this mess up the incremental refresh internal logic? Can I replace pFromDate with the parameter RangeStart?
(I will also add the incremental refresh logic in a "custom filter" on my date column as the tutorial show.)

You can filter the rows as a new table in power query firstly. And then apply incremental refresh on the filtered table. For more details, please refer to tutorial below:
