1899 issue with SELECTEDVALUE from Slicer

Hi, I'm getting an 1899 date when I use a SELECTEDVALUE (to get the slicer date) and then offet from that date.

I understand the 1899 issue but can't find a solution.

Correct date returned: x= SELECTEDVALUE(table1[Date])

1899 date returned: x= SELECTEDVALUE(table1[Date])-14 (date less14 days)

@Baddeck I can't replicate this. Are you sure that this isn't occuring when you have more than one date selected? That would cause SELECTEDVALUE to return BLANK or effectively 0 which is 12/30/1899 and minus 14 days would be 12/16/1899. You could try using MAX instead of SELECTEDVALUE and that would eliminate that kind of problem.
