Do you want to filter instead?
Hi, Thanks for the reply.
I think I didn't explain my challenge correctly.
I know how to remove the highlighting other charts or to filter instead.
But I want disable the Selecting a value in the visual
@c1c, like @lbendlin mentioned, Deneb could be a way to go. If instead you want to stick with the core visuals and you do not want the user to be able to interact with a given visual, you can overlay a shape (i.e. rect) on top of the visual and turn the fill opacity all the way down. With this approach keep in mind that you won't be able to use tooltips, drillthroughs, or any other interaction via the visual's marks. You can limit the shape's area to not cover column headers, the header menu, and scrollbars to still allow for things like sorting, drill-down, viewing the visual as a table, and scrolling.
That goes against the design principles of a BI visual. You would need to use custom visuals like Deneb where you can limit the interactivity.
