Selected workspace does not have any Dataflow

I deployed my Fabric resources from Dev workspace to Prod workspace with a deployment pipeline/

When testing the Prod workspace, I now get the following error when fixing the pipeline's reference to my dataflow:

Selected workspace does not have any Dataflow.
There are two dataflows in the Prod workspace, one normal Gen 2 and one Gen 2 for CI/CD (Preview).

Does anyone know what this means and how to fix it? I tried refreshing and logging back in to Fabric.
Capacity is trial.

same problem here! I would be interested in your solution!

I resorted to Microsoft Support, and it's not quite clear for me or them why my dataflow Gen 2 could not be selected anymore. We found two things of interest after implementing a work-around:

1 Dataflow Gen 2 CI/CD Preview is not supported at all in pipelines

2 Dataflow Gen 2 (normal) cannot be selected right after making it (which is what I tested with after my original one stopped working). After selecting a datasource and making queries, it becomes available for selection.

For my use case, I ended up exporting the Dataflow Gen 2 CI/CD template, created a normal Dataflow Gen 2, imported the template and then set up the destinations.

After this it was available again to pick in the pipeline. Quite alot of steps for a bug in Fabric, but it cannot be helped.

I'm having the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Hi @EwoutVisionBI ,

For the “Selected workspace does not have any Dataflow” error, Dataflow may not be mapped correctly or may not be included in the deployment package when deploying from Dev to Prod. In particular, Gen2 for CI/CD (Preview) may require special configuration.

For more details, you can check below document:

Hello Adamk, I'm not sure I understand. I just chose the resources to deploy and they were deployed correctly. The dataflows also work fine.

The only issue is that the pipeline's dataflow-activities do not recognize the dataflows anymore. It's in both workspaces, so it could be unrelated to the deployment altogether.

Additional info: the dataflows are also not recognized when creating a new Fabric Data Factory pipeline.
