Hi
I am trying to connect from a data flow in Data Factory to an Azure SQL Database Managed instance using SQL authentication and get the following error message
"Only one valid authentication should be used for " + Connection name
"SQLAuthentication is invalid"
"One of user/password is missing"
The same connection however works for a copy activity.
I need to use the data flow so I can write to a delta format file in the Gen2 storage. This option is not available in the copy activity

Could you use the Manage connections (Preview) - Power Query | Microsoft Learn feature to check if there are other connections in use for your dataflow? if there are any, you could remove that and then establish a new connection to your source.
There might a situation where the credentials passed might not be the correct ones, but if you keep encountering issues trying to connect to your source I'd suggest opening a supprot ticket so an engineer can take a deeper look and help you troubleshoot.
