How using the REST connector in a dataflow

Hi,

in a dataflow I'm trying to use the REST connector but I don't find it among the connectors.

I need to use it in order to get data from a Dynamics 365 Business Central solution.

I've read that the REST connector is supported by dataflows.

Well, is it possible to use a such connector in a dataflow and how, please? Many thanks

Hi @pmscorca ,

As @miguel , mentioned, Dataflow Gen2 doesn’t have a separate rest connector option. The Web API connector is the correct choice when connecting to any REST API.

The response you’ve received is correct. Please let me know if you need any additional details or clarification.

Thanks for your response @miguel .

Regards,
Yugandhar

Hi, thanks for your reply.

A dataflow gen2 is a little different from Power Query of Power BI.
Which is the right connector to use a REST connector? Thanks

Hi!

The article goes more in detail on what path to choose, but in principle it's the connector that i mentioned. The Web API.
