Failed to load table preview data You are trying to read a table without columns using Delta

Hi

I have loaded an excel sheet into Fabric Data Lakehouse using Dataflow Gen2 but when I try to open it I get the below error. other tabs from the same excel are working.

Failed to load table preview data
You are trying to read a table `delta`.`path/filename' without columns using Delta.

This excel has some formatting which I suspect is breaking something when it gets converted to a delta file. However I am unable to work out what is causing the issue. Once I know then I can ask the owner of the sheet to remove the formatting.  Any ideas would be appreciated

Thanks

Hi - I have resolved the error . The issue is related to the load from excel . I see you must convert the columns to either text or some other type otherwise the coulmns are not pulled through. My assumption was that the coulmns would all come through as text if you don't convert them. This would seem like a better behaviour. Currently everything works but only converted columns pull through .If you don't convert any columns then nothing comes through - hence the error. The other issue is the sheetes I am pulling from could potentially change but any new columns would not come through automatically which is a pain. Can we change this behaviour please
